Presentations, Powderpuff and S'mores

I had to do three presentations today, together with Inge and Bianca, our subject was Anne Frank (House). We were really nervous the first time, but later it got better. After the presentations, we were divided into three groups so each Dutch student could talk to a few American students and they got the opportunity to ask us things about both the presentation and the Netherlands.
After school, we went to the Powderpuff game. It's a game between juniors and seniors. It's kind of like American Football, but a little bit different. For instance, they don't tackle the other team, but have to get the flags from the opponents hips. My host was one of the juniors, so I thought it would be very interesting to watch, but there was more dancing than actually playing the game. But that was also fun.
Just before the game, we were walking past a teacher's classroom and he actually gave me a vest from Mountain Lakes. It's from the Lakers Golf club. I thought that was really nice that he gave us all kinds of leftover shirts from the school.
After the game, Willemijn, Ruth and I went to my host's, Alaina, house. Her mother drove us to the Monster Mini Golf. It was really fun. There aren't many lights, but you do have sort of glow in the dark, so that was really awesome!
When we got back to Alaina's home, we had some dinner and after that we made a fire in her backyard to make some S'mores. S'mores are like crackers with some chocolate and roasted marshmallows in-between those crackers. We never had those before, so that was a really interesting experience.
During this trip I got to experience all new kinds of things and I am really grateful for that. We had the change to talk to some American students and find out together the differences in our cultures. We also taught them some new Dutch words and they helped us with bettering our English just by talking to us.
